Kyle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Honours Acting from the University of Windsor and has been a professional Actor, Circus Artist & Street Performer for the last 6 years. His roots began in community theatre and travelling Improv groups, which brought him into a professional actor training program. While in University, he was hired to do a live, interactive dance show called “Commedia Fantasia” with Gina Lori Riley Dance enterprises where he had to learn to walk on stilts. This was the first show Mark and Kyle worked on together, and the beginning of Kyle's exposure to circus arts. Kyle finished his training with experience in Classical/Shakespeare, Contemporary, Devised Work, Movement Based Theatre, Clown (Bouffant), Commedia del' Arte and Mask Theatre performance. Since then, he has also become a juggler, fire breather, poi spinner and all around street performer. In between gigs, Kyle can be found Busking the streets of Toronto.
Notable roles Kyle has played are Robert Chiltern in "An Ideal Husband", Dorian Gray in an original stage adaptation of Oscar Wilde's famed novel, Robert in "Jitters", Telephone Repairman in "Barefoot in the Park", Zuljin/Malvento in "Commedia Fantasia", Proteus in "The Two Gentlemen of Verona", Valentine in "You Never Can Tell", M.C./Jerry in "Seeing Red (365 days/plays)" among many others. Kyle was recently a part of Sky Gilbert's "Kitchen Party Nervous Breakdown Reality TV Show" in Toronto. Kyle has also taught workshops on acting technique and one-on-one coaching for actors.
Kyle loves his work as a street performer/circus artist and is proud to be a partner/performer in the Stilt Guys! These last six years have been an amazing experience for him, and has set his sights high with the combined goal of a Tour to Memphis in the next year!
